I’m stuck. You said using worsted weight yarn I needed to increase to have 34 stitches on each sock & that’s what I have. Continuing on to make decreases on fleegle heel you say I should only have 30 stitches & to place a marker in the middle @ 15??? Please help me

Please correct me if I am wrong. When doing the increases for the back needle, the 1st row is knit across the front needle and do the increases on the back needle. 2nd row: knit across both the front and back needle. Do this until reaching the required number of stitches for the back heel needle, yes?

Greetings again! I rewatched this video (from 4 yrs ago) to learn the fleegle heel . QUESTION: I am doing a 2 color helical sock (taat toe up) with toe/heel/cuff in alternative color...typically I do a german short row heel (which is very fiddly with magic loop TAAT-don't ask). I'd love to try fleegle but the color of stripes will be mucked up bc if I work around the instep it will either be solid or every other row I'd have to start a new color (and the helical pattern will be screwed up) , When I do other heels I don't work around the front of the sock - I knit 1 row w/increases, purl , etc. Is there a reason why I need to have the front of the sock have as many extra rows as the heel? Am I making sense??? I guess I"ll throw in a life line and see how it works! I guess I'll let you know if it's a nightmare! LOVE the fleegle heel though...I just don't know how to do it w/ alternate color heel! Any help appreciated! Thanks...

Love the storage idea's especially the toothbrush holder. I have a bunch of yarn and don't have a craft room it's basically my bedroom, so I got an idea off Pintrest using 2 Better Homes & Gradens 8 cubic storage shelves I placed them together in an L shape and love the idea for yarn storage

Thanks so much for this! I don't have double point needles, so I'll be looping, and my yarn is 4 ply according to my guage, so I need to dramatically increase the stitch number, but this walked me through the techniques pretty well :)

Yolanda your instructions are very clear for turning the heel with worsted weight yarn. I’m unclear however, if you only go 2 stitches past the middle with fingering weight yarn. It seems to my advanced novice self, that only going 2 stitches past middle would make for a very narrow heel. Am I overthinking this?

Is there a way to knit this heel in a different color? Will it look right?

THANK you sooo much! I must have watched about 50 videos on socks! THIS is my go-to from now on! None of them matched, or nor could I remember the adjustments later for the other sock? Or had the "wrong" (different) type of yarn? I love the toe-up method, the cast-on, heel combination, AND the increase way. Yay! I shall try to make socks again! Hugs everyone!
